"A Must-Try Kingston Gem My recent visit to this shawarma spot left a strong, positive impression. I ordered the falafel wrap, and while the flavor was excellent, the falafel itself was a touch undercooked in the center. However, this minor issue was a small blip in an otherwise great experience. The quality of the ingredients truly stood out—everything tasted fresh and clean. The dedication to using high-quality components is evident and sets this place apart. The restaurant was spotless, which is always a good sign. Tried their garlic potatoes on side also you cant go wrong with that. Despite the slight issue with the falafel, the overall quality and cleanliness make this a must-try restaurant in Kingston. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the menu. ( somewhat difficult to find street parking )."

"I had a big craving for shawarma and came to Shawarma Dubai, and it was a great decision. Not only did it take my craving away, but everything was great, I got a small wrap combo; the wrap was delicious and well served (lots of chicken, very generous portions), the potato’s were amazing (try the spicy garlic sauce and the garlic sauce with it) and last, the staff was great, Moustapha attended me and he was very polite, explained to me what some stuff were and made suggestions (I gladly took on his suggestions). Great food, awesome service. I’ll for sure be coming back."

"Quite frankly the best takeout experience we've had in Kingston bar none. We generally have the mixed platter and it's enough to feed three of us (for $25 including tax and tip) but the quantity pales in comparison to the quality of the food. It's always fresh and both the chicken and beef are juicy and flavourful and whatever they do with the rice is just plain amazing. The staff, and particularily the owner, are super friendly and even when the place is packed with Queen's students, who obviously know a great deal when they taste it, we've never had to wait more than a few minutes before walking out with our food. Long live Shawarma Dubai!"

"According to Reddit this is the favorite Shawarma place in Kingston. I ordered the mix platter and large wrap combo. Both were very jumbo serving, very filling. The beef seems fake and more sausage style, I wouldn't recommend.. But the chicken is terrific. Not as good as some Shawarma places in Ottawa, but still incredibly satisfying. Service was fast and friendly. Inside seating available. I recommend."

"Amazing staff, and amazing food. Their mix with rice has to be the best deal a student can get for a late night dinner. Portions are huge and the people there are super friendly. The chicken shwarma meat tastes amazing and authentic and the gyro is okay. Their selection of pickles and veggies as sides with garlic sauce, tahini, and hummus is excellent."
